Today, Lauren continues to help organizations and professionals, from startups to blue chip, craft media strategy that is both efficient and engaging and while building community gardens and hosting women’s arts events in her spare time. Lauren now calls New Orleans home, and has worked with several local institutions including the Louisiana Department of Health’s “Bring Back Louisiana” campaign as well as the historic Dew Drop Inn music venue and hotel executive team.

As a resident of the Fairgrounds neighborhood, I aspire to actively contribute to a vibrant, empowered, and prosperous Broad Street community. I would like to join the board of Broad Community Connections because I am passionate about community-driven change and inspired by the work BCC has done, addressing both markers of disparity, through Facade Renewal and Signage projects, as well as its root causes, through the ReFresh Project.
